At 28, John is the youngest member of the Symphony team.  He is a specialist in sales and business development with both an entrepreneurial flair and a keen focus on customer service.

John has experience in most sectors, with particular strengths in both retail and wholesale import / export activities, including internet selling and merchandising for some of the UK’s leading organisations and brands.

An example of John’s ability to create market opportunity is that while working within the graphic reproduction industry he established a new business that was a specialist in the development and supply of high visibility signage.  The products were primarily for care and residential homes and were aimed at supporting the dignity and independent living of sufferers of dementia or a serious visual impairment.  BUPA, Barchester, Four Seasons and Southern Cross were all key customers

John developed this business to include additional products such as easy-to-see watches, telephones, kitchen equipment and mobility aids through major on-line retailers.
John’s key skills include:

  • Optimisation of routes to market
  • New product development and line extensions
  • Brand creation and development
  • Procurement, both domestically and internationally
  • Product supply negotiations

John became an associate of Symphony in 2010.
