Paul is an experienced finance professional with a breadth of experience in general management and operational areas.  He graduated from Glasgow University with a Bachelor in Accountancy degree and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte Haskins and Sells. 

Paul relocated to the Dubai office for 12 months after which he joined American Oil major, Atlantic Oil & Gas as business analyst for three years before becoming Divisional Finance and Marketing Controller with Johnson and Johnson.

He was also Director of Information Analysis within British Aerospace Operations’ venture in Toulouse, France - Avions International Regional.  Paul was introduced to the world of turnaround, initially with a sandwich manufacturer and then with a precision engineering business where he was chief executive for three years.

Prior to joining Symphony in 2007 he led Deloitte’s solvent restructuring practice in Scotland undertaking a variety of reviews and transaction types for some of Scotland’s leading companies.

Since joining Symphony Paul has made a significant contribution to its development during some of the most challenging market conditions experienced by its clients and investments.
