After graduating in Law from Glasgow University, Mark spent a year travelling and working in Asia and Australia in various sales roles before joining KPMG.  Working with a range of SMEs and blue-chip companies, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, moving into their Restructuring and Advisory department in 2006.

His work in KPMG involved a variety of financial advisory assignments throughout the UK including commercial and operational reviews, gaining extensive experience of liaising with and reporting to banks, creditors and regulatory bodies.

During this period, he was seconded to 2 major debt providers to help formulate and implement turnaround strategies for their portfolio of distressed companies, working with investors and stakeholders to protect and build value.

In 2008 he joined Symphony Corporate Limited and was featured by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland as a Rising Star in 2010.
